Due to the current climate of Covid 19 we were unable to have our normal presentation evening at our usual venue the Centenary Club.
But not deterred by this, we pooled our resources and with the co-operation of the membership we managed to put together some sort of presentation with the use of Zoom.
It all started with the membership keeping up the spirit and interest in keeping the club active and running in as normal manner as possible. We managed to keep the competitions running and with the help of Zoom meetings we achieved a successful end to the competition year.
To this end we managed to have an awards evening with the presentation of trophies to the winning photographers via a Zoom meeting. As Exhibition Secretary it was my responsibility to arrange and organise the presentations, which involved me going to each individual winning photographer (keeping of course to the social distancing rules).
All in all, it was a very successful evening which was well received by all members (with a few giggles along the way). I would like to thank all the members for their full support and co-operation throughout the year and my congratulations to all the well deserved winners.
