Weymouth Museum – Opening of Pop-up Museum
Weymouth Museum celebrated the opening of it’s pop-up museum in the town centre on St Thomas St on Saturday 28th June. Weymouth Camera Club has contributed to the current exhibition with a display of prints of Weymouth. The museum was opened by our MP, Lloyd Hatton. He cut the opening ribbon alongside the Museum Trustees and Mayor Caroline Nickinson.
The Mayor cut the commemorative cake at the museum opening. Weymouth Camera Club plans to refresh the display every few months showing some of the club members work. This collaboration with the museum gives WCC a town centre base for exhibiting work for the next two years and the associated public exposure.
Weymouth Museum hours are 10am to 2pm Monday to Saturday.
Thanks to Mick, Chris, Steve and John C who also attended.
