Yet another end to a most successful and well attended season, our Annual Presentation of Trophies and Awards took place on Tuesday evening 2nd May 2023 at our regular meeting place The Centenary Club, Jubilee Close, Weymouth.

The evening consisted of a PowerPoint presentation, compiled by our Competition Secretary Steve Baker, of all our Monthly league and non-league competition winners and those which gained certificates of merit. Then in the second half of the evening I presented the Winning Print Images from our Annual Competition, which was Judged by an independent judge who was Mr. John Tilsley of Dorchester Camera club.

On completion of viewing, we then moved onto the presentation of Trophies and Awards, which were presented by the Mayor of Weymouth Cllr Ann Weaver who was accompanied by her escort Mr. Rodney Wakefield and his wife Margaret. On completion of presentations the Mayor said she enjoyed the evening very much and was very pleased and honoured to have been a part of it.

We thanked the Mayor and her Escort for honouring us with their presence.

All in all, it was a very successful evening which was well received by our guests and members.
I would like to thank all the members for their full support and co-operation throughout the season and look forward to next season, and congratulations to all the well-deserved winners. Well done all.
